Choose the right cable for your installation. There are 2 different cable formats - Loop/Loop and Loop/Ball.
Loops can pass through loops. The Ball cannot pass through a loop.
The top of the PODOLOCK is a loop.
If your installation allows you to secure your cable to a desk or other stationary fixture, use the Loop/Loop cable and a lock.

To secure your iPod in an area that does not have a stationary fixture to lock the cable, use the Loop/Ball cable, "Peel-Back" Adhesive Pads and Lock Kit. The Adhesive Pad can be secured to any non-porous surface. Pass the cable through the PODOLOCK and attach to the pad.
The Ball cannot pass through the Loop in the PODOLOCK or the Adhesive Pad.
